New Delhi: Tamil Nadu is likely to receive rain in several parts of the state over the next few days, with heavy rain forecast in parts of Coimbatore and Nilgiris, the Chennai Meteorological Centre said on Monday August 24.

According to the weather department, a weak trough in the lower levels of the atmosphere is currently prevailing along the coastal areas of Tamil Nadu.
