Satya Niketan PG collapse: Court rejects operator Shubham Tyagi’s anticipatory bail
A Delhi court has rejected the anticipatory bail application of Satya Niketan PG operator Shubham Tyagi after seven people died in the collapse of the multi-storey building. Tyagi remains absconding, while police arrested his business partner Sudhanshu on Wednesday.
New Delhi: A Delhi court on Thursday rejected the anticipatory bail application of Shubham Tyagi, one of the operators of the paying guest accommodation that collapsed in Delhi’s Satya Niketan and killed seven people. Additional Sessions Judge Saurabh Pratap Singh Laler of the Patiala House Court dismissed Tyagi’s request for protection from arrest.
Tyagi and his business partner Sudhanshu had reportedly taken the property on lease in August 2025 and operated it as a boys’ PG accommodation. Police arrested Sudhanshu........
