New Delhi: In a shocking incident reported from Madhya Pradesh’s Satna district hospital has once again raised serious questions about the state of emergency healthcare services in Madhya Pradesh after a critically ill patient was declared dead following a delay caused by a jammed ambulance gate.
The patient, identified as Ram Prasad (67), a resident of Ramnagar, was referred to Satna from the Ramnagar Community Health Centre on Monday morning via a 108 ambulance. However, when the ambulance reached the district hospital, its rear gate failed to open, trapping the patient inside for several crucial minutes.
