Iran President Pezeshkian thanks PM Modi for efforts to strengthen BRICS

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and India for hosting the BRICS meetings in New Delhi. He called for stronger trade, investment and financial cooperation among members as geopolitical tensions disrupt global supply chains.

New Delhi: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on Friday thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his efforts to strengthen cooperation within BRICS ahead of the grouping’s summit in New Delhi.

Pezeshkian made the remarks while addressing the BRICS Business Forum. The two-day leaders’ summit will begin in the national capital on September 12.
