Subhas Chandra Bose stands as one of India’s most revered historical figures, a paragon of courage, patriotism, and unyielding dedication to India’s independence. His extraordinary leadership and audacious strategies galvanised a nation under colonial rule, etching his name permanently into the annals of Indian history. Yet the circumstances of his death remain shrouded in mystery, fuelling decades of debate and speculation.

While the Indian government officially claims Bose died in a plane crash in Taiwan on 18 August 1945, this narrative is riddled with inconsistencies. The lack of conclusive evidence, coupled with a litany of conflicting reports, has kept the nation questioning whether the truth has been concealed for political convenience.
