To be called a Paki is unacceptable for a Pakistani in the outside world. It is more of a slur. Pakistanis themselves acknowledge this, and it is a well-known secret globally. The country thrives and is proud of its largest industry – begging. Begging contributes more than 12 per cent of its GDP, translating to $42 billion dollars. The national average amount per beggar is Rs 850, and in a country with over 230 million people, there are reportedly 38 million beggars. From January 2024 to May 2025, a maximum of 5,402 Pakistani citizens, primarily beggars, were deported from Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Malaysia, Oman, Qatar, and the UAE.

There are compulsions, primarily for the elites, Generals, politicians, and wealthy businesses, to park the riches looted from poor Pakistanis living on the opium of religion. The West, especially the US and UK, provides a safe haven for the loot and a hiding place post-retirement or when people come after them.
