Comedian Bill Burr, fresh off of starring in the sure-to-be unbearably preachy “Social Network” sequel, shared his hot take on the cold-blooded murder of former UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson by lunatic heartthrob Luigi Mangione during a recent sit-down with Rolling Stone.

“I mean, if you look at all of this stuff, like the response to the Luigi thing was not to be like, ‘Well, hey, maybe we need to look at what we’re doing if what we’re doing makes some crazy person do this.’ Their response was to take their faces off of the internet and get security,” complained Burr.

“It’s like, you don’t think you need to examine — you know what I mean? It’s like, you’re not the president, you’re just the CEO of a business. Why do you need this level of security? What is it that you’re doing?”

To paraphrase the American film masterpiece “Billy Madison” and speak for those of us living outside of the pampered, morally bankrupt bubble he inhabits: Mr. Burr, what you’ve just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things we have ever heard.
