For his lengthy history of “preying” on Indigenous women and girls, Dances With Wolves actor Nathan Chasing Horse will likely be spending the rest of his life in jail.
In a Nevada courtroom this week, the 50-year-old Chasing Horse was sentenced to life in prison with no possibility of parole for 37 years.
Judge Jessica Peterson accused Chasing Horse of using his reputation as a traditional healer to exploit girls as young as 13 for his own “personal gratification.”
