For many decades, your country has been blaming ours for your winter blizzards, cold fronts, freezing drizzle and frozen drazzle.

But now you’re also blaming us for this summer’s scorching heat and wildfire smog. 

Last week, some Republican senators demanded we Canadians control our wildfire smoke “atrocity” and stop blowing our pollution into America.

Or else suffer retaliation. 

Blowhard-in-Chief Donald Trump quickly chimed in, declaring the U.S. has been “unnecessarily invaded by filthy … unhealthy air “from Canada.” 

Trump inexplicably blamed this on our country’s bad “forest management.” So now he has threatened to punish us with, what else? More tariffs added on to the latest tariffs he has added to his other tariffs on our tariffs.

Trump keeps popping up every 20 minutes like a crazed Whack-a-Mole, chirping “Tariffs on hockey sticks! … Tariffs on cocktail mixers! … Tariffs on anything that comes to my mind this second!”

Our two countries are now in a diplomatic confrontation over who is to blame for … the weather.

Frankly, you Americans often blame your bad winters on Canadians. U.S. weather analysts are always using (actual) sentences like: “Frigid cold arctic blast from Canada … sending temperatures into deep freeze.”

Or: “Why is so bleeping cold in N.J. now? Blame Canada!” 

Or: “Canada has opened its deep........
