With the relentless rise in household bills, it's not surprising that people are trying to save money where they can. One of the ways families can try to cut down is on the food shop.

But with prices still high, it's becoming increasingly difficult.

That's why people are turning to different places to make savings where they can, including food warehouses and community supermarkets.

One such place is the little-known Rogers Wholesale Foods, which is hidden away on an industrial estate in Bredbury, Stockport, and is open to the public.

Specialising in food and drink that's either short dated or past its best before date, it prides itself on helping what it describes as 'the squeezed middle' - those people who don't receive any financial help or support, but are finding it increasingly difficult to put food........
