Most companies are raising prices. PepsiCo cut theirs.

PepsiCo announced quarterly earnings on Thursday, and it was good news. The company said earnings had climbed 8.5 percent to $19.44 billion. And profits were up 27 percent, compared to the same quarter last year, at $2.33 billion.

There seems to be just one reason for these very satisfactory results: Price decreases. Most companies keep raising prices because of inflation and now higher fuel costs due to the war in Iran.
