A True Crime Toy Story: Deputies Recover $1 Million Lego Haul

Three men are arrested in Mojave, California, after they tried to flee in stolen, Lego-laden freight trailers.

It didn’t take long for authorities in Southern California to put the pieces together and connect three men and two stolen freight trailers to a $1 million Lego heist.

The Kern County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responding to reports of suspicious vehicles on Silver Queen Road in Mojave, California, pulled over two box trucks shortly after they attempted to flee the scene on Wednesday. Inside, the deputies found “a large amount of Lego products,” according to a report posted on Facebook by the sheriff’s office.
