As AI bots tighten hiring filters, 1 in 5 workers admit to exaggerating their experience just to land an interview.

Despite nearly flatlined recruitment activity by most businesses, nearly half of employees still say they’re actively looking to change jobs anyway. But the long hiring odds those candidates know they’ll face has a considerable portion of them trying to improve their chances in a troubling way: by lying about their work experience or skills on resumes.
Putting the brightest shine possible on documents sent to prospective employers isn’t exactly new, but the numbers of people resorting to fiction to attain that objective is.
