Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (Republican, Georgia) is on a collision course with the Republican Party as she suggested it has abandoned US President Donald Trump’s MAGA base.

In an interview with the Daily Mail published on Saturday, the one-time Trump loyalist made clear her frustration with the Republican Party’s direction.

“I think the Republican Party has turned its back on ‘America First’ and the workers and just regular Americans,” she reportedly said, adding she feared for the party’s drift back to its “neocon” past influenced by the “good ole boys” network.
