New York Governor Kathy Hochul on Tuesday ripped a reporter for asking if a Politico report on racist, antisemitic rhetoric in a Young Republicans group chat reflected “some bad apples” or whether there’s “toxicity” in the entire Republican Party.

“Some bad apples? These are the future of the Republican Party,” replied the top Democrat during a press conference.
