'Authoritarian Insanity': US Homeland Security Slammed For Asking If Voters Are 'Loyal' To Trump

The Department of Homeland Security posted a photo of President Donald Trump on Monday with a caption calling out opponents of his administration.

The photo was shared in response to a series of headlines posted by right-wing social media personality/podcaster Christian Heiens, who was commenting on recent events he considered favourable to Trump.

These included the Trump administration moving to revoke the visas of 200,000 asylum seekers and the Supreme Court lifting an injunction on the president’s executive order seeking to restrict mail-in voting.

“It’s just a series of generational wins after another,” Heiens wrote.

Critics were quick to slam the department’s post as partisan propaganda designed to instil fear in Trump’s opponents.

“Ask yourself: did generations defend our democracy… for this?” Democrat Senator Adam Schiff wrote on X.
