Texans can ask Grok or Perplexity anything in seconds. But when the question involves Texas probate quirks, local judges or the realities of family fights, a human still matters. Q: Why do I need to submit questions to the "State Your Case" column in the Houston Chronicle / San Antonio Express-News / Austin American-Statesman when all I need to do is ask Grok or Perplexity to answer my questions for me?
A: That's not an actual question I received, but instead it's a question I've been wondering about, so I posed it to Grok and Perplexity.
Grok (my favorite, and I think the best AI program) had a shockingly good answer, with personality, wit, and a sense of humor. It was almost like a real person was talking to me. And of course it wrote this response in seconds:
