From Waspi women to mansion tax moaners and Scotland’s civil service unions, the race for the zero-sympathy crown is fierce – but one group walks away with the prize, says Guy Stenhouse
There are some moaners for whom it is really hard to have any sympathy.
For ages top prize has gone to Waspi women who have complained long and loud about no longer being able to retire at age 60 but being made to work as long as men.
Their complaint is that they didn’t get told early or clearly enough that this was happening and must have financial compensation as a result.
Can you remember the last time you got a letter from the Government telling you some rule or law which affected you had changed? No? Me neither.
