Every other day we have a news story about one or the other disease impacting people in Kashmir, in numbers. We have been pursuing the rise of different cancers in Kashmir and that is a very alarming situation. Then we have cases of Hepatitis B. We have a number of cases that call for a renewed, and urgent, attention towards the problem. Needless to say that diseases like Hepatitis B are embedded in certain factors that can be addressed only at the societal level. A deep and widespread awareness........
