Adani Defence & Aerospace—controlled by ports-to-power billionaire Gautam Adani—has partnered with Brazil’s Embraer to build a manufacturing facility to assemble commercial jets in India to tap into the country’s travel boom.

The partners will collaborate to develop an aircraft assembly plant and its supporting operations such as supply chain, aftermarket services, and pilot training, according to a statement released by Embraer on Tuesday.
