Ash Bala wants you to stop treating money like a monthly chore

Most personal finance advice begins with restraint: spend less, save more, invest consistently. The formulas are familiar, but for many people, they no longer reflect the way money actually moves through their lives.

Income may arrive from a salary, freelance work, creator projects, investments or a side business. Spending is increasingly frictionless. Careers are being reshaped by AI. Financial decisions are made in an environment of constant notifications, subscriptions, digital payments and competing priorities.

Against that backdrop, Ash Bala is asking a more useful question: what if managing money were less about becoming stricter and more about becoming intentional?

Main Character Money brings that thinking into everyday life.
