The older I get, the faster time seems to fly by.
When I was 10 years old, summer vacation felt like it lasted forever. Christmas seemed to take years to arrive. A single school year felt almost endless.
Now? I blink and it’s August. Blink again and someone is wishing me a Happy New Year.
I’m certain I’m not alone in feeling time move faster as I age. Of course, time most likely isn’t moving faster; we just perceive it differently.
Researchers believe one of the biggest reasons time feels like it’s speeding up with age is because we experience fewer new things.
