Following a week of internal turmoil, the wounded regime has engaged in a desperate act of self-preservation. By swiftly placing Khamenei’s son Mojtaba as the new supreme leader, the absolute clerical rule of Velayat-e Faqih has effectively morphed into a hereditary monarchy. But as the Iranian Resistance has declared, this dynastic succession cannot save the shipwrecked vessel of religious fascism.
