Column: Living The Best life Possible -- Part Two

In my last column I touched on walking as part of your physical and mental fitness, and how important fitness is to live Your Best Life Possible. In this column, I'm going to tell you how I did it, and what worked for me. It started when we were living in South Texas, and although what worked for me is not necessarily going to work for you, I think the principal will. For me it was one word: Tennis! Singles tennis produces a fit body, and while you may not want to play tennis, fitness is critical to living your best life. Even more importantly, with a good diet, it produces a body that allows you to do a number of things that slows your body's natural ageing process. Of course, the way each of us achieves fitness is always different, and this is how I achieved fitness. It's my tennis story.

Before we moved back to Arkansas, I had started to play tennis and occasionally I mixed in a little jogging, but I was far from adding either of those activities into a part of my life. However, in the mid-seventies' tennis became one of the hot sports, and we had just moved back to South Arkansas.
