Opinion: It's time to move on from the Pathways carbon capture project

Prime Minister Mark Carney says a new oil pipeline to the West Coast is conditional on a new carbon capture hub in northern Alberta, but on May 1, Martha Hall Findlay, former Liberal MP, Suncor executive, and the political muscle behind the $20-billion Pathways Plus carbon capture project, pulled a 180 and wrote in the Globe and Mail that “now is not the time” for the scheme she’s been trumpeting for the past five years.
