Retiring shop owners 'bewildered' by no buyers after £100,000 price cut

Peter and Janice Lloyd, both 68, own Wortham Stores, Post Office and Tea Shop on the Suffolk-Norfolk border between Eye and Diss.

The pair have been running the "really successful" business since 2008, but put the building up for sale two years ago as they felt it was "time to move on".

Meanwhile, a "real lack of genuine interest" has caused concern, with the couple being forced to reduce the freehold asking price from the original valuation of £795,000 to £695,000 to attract buyers.
