Talking News charity expands service to reach people with chronic illness

Three Rivers Talking News (3RTN), based in Bungay, has traditionally recorded newspaper articles for blind and partially sighted locals.

However, the charity has now extended its service to anyone who finds reading difficult, including people living with conditions such as multiple sclerosis, motor neurone disease, and Parkinson's disease.

As well as broadening who can access the service, 3RTN has expanded the range of content included in its weekly output.

Alongside local news from the Beccles & Bungay Journal, listeners can now enjoy features covering rural affairs, health matters, sport, entertainment, and information about local shows and music events.
