Beccles Town Council has announced that a section of the Beccles Marsh Trail is undergoing maintenance.

This means part of the 'green' route is temporarily closed.

It is one of three routes commonly used by dog walkers.

The Beccles Marsh Trail, partially maintained by the Suffolk Wildlife Trust, is located to the north of the town, past the A146, and runs alongside the River Waveney.

The town council apologised for the inconvenience.
