Plans for 500-home estate move forward as nine-year build timeline revealed

Taylor Wimpey has lodged an Environmental Impact Assessment scoping report for 500 homes north of Beccles Road in Carlton Colville, Lowestoft.

The developer is looking to build a potential nursery and public open space on the 23-hectare site on the northern edge of the town.

The proposals represent an increase on plans unveiled in June when developers outlined ambitions for around 450 homes on the site.
