Michelle Fuller-Watts has taken on a building on Earsham Street in Bungay, where she plans to launch her first shop called Iris & Bo.

Named after her two grandmothers Iris and Betty known as BoBo, Mrs Fuller-Watts said she decided to take the plunge and open a clothing boutique after she heard Jan Harris, owner of Muse, was planning on retiring.

Mrs Fuller-Watts, who previously worked at Focus Organic, said: "I have lived most of my life in Bungay and I've always shopped in Muse.

"It's been a boutique in Bungay for a very long time and Jan told me she was retiring, and the other boutique in Bungay was closing, and I thought do you know what, lets give this a go.

"It's all brand new to me and I'm having a really great time learning everything I need to know."

Now she hopes to open the doors of Iris & Bo in two months.

While work is well under way to get ready for the opening, Mrs Fuller-Watts isn't due to get the keys to the building until early May, but hopes to give the shop a new look.

The new clothing boutique is set to retain some of the brands, but also add new ones.

Iris & Bo will also be introducing leather goods such as handbags and a small range of shoes.

Mrs Fuller-Watts said: "It's really a family-run business, Jan is my absolute inspiration and my chief advisor.

"My husband Dave is all things technical and he did the website and my daughter Maisie and her partner Jack have been sorting the social media,

"My sons, Archie and Toby, have really been getting stuck in and helping lift boxes and move stuff around."

As well as a curated collection of womenswear, customers will also be able to shop a range of jewellery and ceramics.
