Lifeline charity begins search for business experts to save organisation
Bungay Community Support (BCS), which runs a food hall and community hub from Number 28 on Wingfield Street, learned it must urgently relocate its services as its current base is set to be sold.
The charity launched a public appeal to raise £400,000 to secure another building, but trustees are now pursuing another approach that could save the organisation without relying solely on public fundraising.

Under the plans, a local benefactor, or group of benefactors, would purchase a building outright and lease it back to BCS, allowing the charity to continue operating and expand its services.
