Emergency services were called to Somerleyton House in Somerleyton Street, off Unthank Road, at 5.22am today.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have been seen inside Somerleyton House, which provides accommodation for students and professionals.

Norfolk police have arrested a man on suspicion of murder, and he is now in custody.

Someone who lives in Suffolk Square, which faces the back of Somerleyton House, said: "I'd move away tomorrow if I could. I've lived hear six years, and it's somehow gotten worse, if that's possible."
