The agreement will see Virgin Media O2 supplied with solar power from egg Power’s new solar farm in Suffolk, which is expected to be operational in 2027.

The proposed solar farm is believed to be Grange solar power plant in Palgrave, near Diss.

The solar farm will provide around five per cent of Virgin Media O2’s total energy supply.
