It follows a routine maintenance inspection at a rented flat in Norwich city centre.
Letting agents tipped off police who uncovered three kilos of cannabis in sealed bags hidden under a bed and four handguns still boxed in a wardrobe.
Prosecutor Oliver Haswell told Norwich Crown Court though blank firing they were “significant weapons” that are indistinguishable from the real thing and could be converted to fire live ammunition.

Officers who searched the apartment at Sentinel House, formerly Aviva offices on Surrey Street, in February 2025 also discovered £76,400 locked inside a safe and a further £25,330 in cash hidden around the flat.
Brown was arrested eight months later at Heathrow after intelligence that he was due to fly back into the UK onboard a business class flight.
Further searches at another property linked to Brown, on Geoffrey Watling Way in Norwich, uncovered two red bricks of cocaine powder weighing a total of 1.75kg, £21,000 in cash, herbal cannabis and other drug paraphernalia.
High-end designer clothing was also seized from the property and directly from Brown on his arrest, including a Rolex watch, a diamond-encrusted ring and diamond earrings.

Mr Haswell said bank records showed he had deposited £384,000 in the previous three years despite declaring no earnings to HMRC.
The prosecutor added: “This shows just how profitable this offending was for him.”
Brown pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply cocaine and cannabis together with four money laundering offences.
Jailing him for a total of nine years Recorder John Brooke-Smith said: “It is clear you were running a significant cocaine and cannabis supply operation."
He said the offences were seriously aggravated by the discovery of the firearms.

Rob Pollington, mitigating, said: “He made the mistake of becoming embroiled in the world of drugs and was persuaded into this offending mainly to pay off debts.”
The prosecution are seeking a ‘confiscation’ order pursuant to Proceeds Of Crime Act to recover any items purchased through criminal activity.
Detective Sergeant Scott Malcolmson, of Norfolk Serious Crime Disruption Team (SCDT), said: “This result is a significant disruption to serious organised crime in Norfolk.
“A large quantity of drugs has been removed from our community and an ongoing confiscation order to remove criminal assets will help to maintain the public’s safety.
“We are dedicated to tackling the issue of serious organised crime and will continue to make it uncomfortable for people like Brown to operate here.”
