Immigration overstayer jailed for showing police fake driving licence
Nelson Luis De Andrad, 24, showed officers a photo on his phone that he claimed was a valid licence after being stopped driving a Mercedes van on Oval Road in Costessey.

Norwich Crown Court was told the image turned out to be a mock up of a Portuguese licence with an incorrect date of birth, while further checks discovered he actually only had a UK provisional licence.
Oliver Haswell, prosecuting, said checks on the immigration status found he had been born in Brazil and had overstayed his UK visa.
De Andrad pleaded guilty to possession of an identity document with intent to commit fraud, as well as driving with no licence and no insurance.
The court heard he had been working and paying tax but had failed in an appeal to settle his immigration status.
Recorder Michael Turner jailed him for three months.
"You have made some idiotic mistakes, but they are decisions of a young man not a hardened criminal,” he said.
