Mobility shop wants to expand due to fears of view being blocked
Holt Mobility hopes to build an extension on its showroom off Weybourne Road in Bodham to increase the size of its sales area.
In plans submitted to North Norfolk District Council, the business said the bid has been "partly prompted" by the recent approval granted to their neighbour Crayford and Abbs.
Crayford and Abbs, a car dealership on the same site, was given planning permission for an extension on their building towards the end of last year.

However, Holt Mobility had concerns their shop frontage "would be concealed by the neighbours extension".
So it has put "an exact replica" of the application extending to the same position and following the same architectural form which maintains "the desired visibility" of the store.
A planning statement said: "This application is vital for the ongoing viability of this much respected local business."
