Police were called to Angel Court in Cromer Road, North Walsham, just after 10pm on February 19 following reports that a car had collided with a parked ambulance.

No one was injured but the driver failed to stop at the scene.

Police have now confirmed a man in his late teens has been arrested in connection with the incident.

He was taken to Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre for questioning on suspicion of aggravated vehicle taking, dangerous driving, and fail to stop, driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence and driving without insurance.

He has been bailed to appear at Great Yarmouth PIC on April 28.
