Changes to town's supermarket parking come in as new firm takes over
From today (March 10), the Budgens of Holt car park in Kerridge Way will be managed by the RCP parking company.
And with this change of hands, there are two differences drivers should be aware of.
Now, all spaces in the car park will include 30 minutes of free parking and after this, charges will then apply.
And instead of a pay and display system, a new ticketless system is in force with parking fees due on exit.

Many have criticised the short period of free parking with some describing it as "ridiculous" and others have said that "30 minutes is a joke".
But in a post online, C T Baker Budgens of Aylsham and Holt said: "This change is about keeping spaces available for customers, while making it easier for everyone to enjoy both Budgens and our wonderful town.
"We know Holt thrives because people can shop local with ease, and this update is designed to support exactly that - keeping parking fair, simple and stress-free for our community."
