Sagaanan Suntharalingam was charged with causing death by careless driving, causing death by driving a vehicle while uninsured, and perverting the course of justice.

It follows an incident when cyclist Edward Cooke, who was in his 50s, died at the scene after being struck by a Mercedes vehicle on the B1108 Watton Road at about 5.10am on November 9, 2023.

Suntharalingam, 23, appeared at Norwich Crown Court on Wednesday (September 23) when he pleaded guilty to causing death by careless driving.
