Harry Smithson, 24, had made out he was just 16 to the teenage victim - who cannot be identified for legal reasons - who had been staying in a tent near Dolphin Bridge in Norwich.

Norwich Crown Court heard Smithson, who was also staying in a tent in the area, was actually six years older than the victim who told him "she was only 14".

Danielle O'Donovan, prosecuting, she had “drunk vodka with him” and “smoked something”.

The victim "felt unwell" and went into the tent but was followed by Smithson.

Miss O'Donovan said the victim told him to "go away" but he took off her clothes, "turned her over" and sexually assaulted her.

Smithson then got dressed and left the tent but was later arrested after the........
