Simon Dobbin, from Mildenhall, was a Cambridge United supporter who had travelled to watch the U's play at Southend on March 21, 2015.

He was assaulted after the match in an attack outside the Railway Tavern pub that left him with life-changing injuries.

Mr Dobbin died from his injuries aged 48 in October 2020 and in February of this year, 12 men were charged in connection with the incident.
