Village garage and car dealership could become site for new homes
Nick Clarke, who works at Ludham Garage Ltd, has applied for planning permission in principle to convert the garage into a space for up to nine homes.
He has lodged an application to North Norfolk District Council (NNDC) seeking outline planning permission for the development of up to nine residential dwellings.

The dwellings are proposed to be affordable homes.
The application states the exact type of housing development would be in the hands of the buyer of the site.
The site - measuring 1.22 hectares - is currently used for car sales and MOT testing, and has a workshop, fuel forecourt and a car park.

The business currently employs five full-time workers and two part-time workers.
No employees would remain at the site if the application is approved.
