Plans for new office unit at Norfolk business park site given green light
Biffa Waste Services have gained permission from Great Yarmouth Borough Council (GYBC) to remove their existing office buildings and install a new portable office unit at its site in Yarmouth Business Park.
The waste management company will remove its current site office and welfare facilities at the firm's vehicle depot in the business park and replace them with a smaller portable cabin office unit.

The new portable building will be used as a welfare unit containing toilets for staff and will be grey in colour.
It will be 2.8m tall, 3.91m wide and 14.52m in length, and will see a net reduction in floor space compared to its existing set-up of two portable cabins.
There will not be a change to the overall use or staffing levels at the site, with the existing nine full-time jobs maintained.

The site will gain three additional car parking spaces, increasing from its current nine spots to 12.
The proposal received no objections and permission has been given for work to begin within three years.
