Daniel Bedwell was caught using his mobile phone in his Toyota Hilux on Bracondale in Norwich on October 3, 2024.

Bedwell, 38 and of Chapel Field Road, Stalham, pleaded guilty to using a handheld mobile device while driving his car at Great Yarmouth Magistrates' Court.

Holly Postle, prosecuting, said: "There had been an officer out. They had been acting as a spotter.

"They had seen Mr Bedwell use the phone in his right hand while driving.........
