Village road to close this month as motorists warned of disruption
Garvestone Road, in Mattishall near Dereham, is due to shut on Wednesday, March 18 for culvert repairs.
The works will be carried out by Norfolk County Council and cost in the region of £1,200.
A spokesman for the county council said that the closure was required "to maintain a safe working area for our subcontractors".
They added: "A signed diversion route will be in place for the duration of the closure with pedestrian access being maintained at all times.
"The county council thanks people for their patience while this repair work is carried out".
The road is scheduled to re-open during the late afternoon or early evening of March 18.
It is among a handful of closures in and around Dereham this month, along with Rushmeadow Road in Scarning.
The diversion route is expected to take motorists through Old Hall Road, Dereham Road, Welgate and Thynnes Lane.
According to One.network, this will add just over two miles onto people's journeys.
