Dereham Taskforce said these new measures were part of efforts to tackle anti-social behaviour in the town.

The group, made up of volunteers, police, housing and social care representatives, has held its latest meeting to discuss issues in the town.

It highlighted that recorded incidents of crime in Dereham remain lower than the same period last year.

However, a spokesman for the taskforce acknowledged that "public confidence is also shaped by how safe and welcoming the town feels".

Work is under way on adding street warden patrols around the start........
