Fresh bid for affordable homes at former garages site by tower block
A new scheme has been lodged for council-owned land in Lowestoft, almost three years after plans for six contemporary new homes had been approved.
It could see six homes built on a previously developed brownfield site on the corner of Elim Terrace and Factory Street, which was formerly occupied by a series of garages.

The properties - consisting of two-bedroom terraced and semi-detached affordable homes - would be created on a site that "currently benefits from an extant planning permission for the construction of six dwellings" previously approved in October 2023 according to East Suffolk........
