Danger pavement action call made after pedestrians badly injured

An important safety issue has been highlighted in Lowestoft following a serious fall in the town centre last week that saw two people needing hospital treatment.

It was the latest incident to have been witnessed in London Road North - with a number of people having been injured in recent months.

The call for action over the trip hazards has been backed by Lowestoft MP Jess Asato as people urge Suffolk County Council to carry out urgent repairs.

The concerns about the condition of pavements in Lowestoft town centre have been raised as an issue for months.
