The three individuals were ordered to pay a total of £1,500 for violating the town's Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) which prohibits street drinking.

The penalties were imposed after the council introduced a range of tougher powers to tackle anti-social behaviour following a consultation in which people said feeling safe and a clean town centre were major priorities.
