Dozens of disgruntled people travelling through Dereham today (October 22) are saying their usual five-minute journeys are taking up to half-an-hour due to the congestion.

The mayhem comes as temporary traffic lights have been installed on both Norwich Street near the King's Head Hotel and Yaxham Road's junction with Tavern Lane near Roys.

Traffic has been queuing up in the town all day. (Image: Newsquest)
